Call for Artists – Truth to Power 5!

“Truth to Power” is a juried exhibit focusing on matters of social justice. This exhibit marks our fifth annual show on this topic. The title, derived from a 1955 Quaker pamphlet, “Speak Truth to Power” illustrates a commitment to voicing our diverse truths to the systems and individuals shaping the society in which we live.  The exhibit is intentionally broad in scope so that each artist may address issues of personal, local, national, and/or international importance.

The exhibit is open to all North Carolina artists working in 2D and 3D media. Each artist may submit up to two entries for consideration via There is a $20 entry fee per artist.

Truth to Power 5 will run from July 13 to August 6, 2017, with a Third Friday Reception, Artist Talk and Open Mic Event on July 21st  from 6-9 pm.
